Membership
A Kiwanis club is organized around a core membership of select service-minded men and women who reflect the community profile. Our members come from a wide range of industries and backgrounds at different levels in their career. We enjoy the diversity of Bloomington/Normal and want our membership to reflect that.
Time
Anticipate an average commitment of about six hours per month: 3 hours devoted to community service, 2 hours toward social activities and 1 hour of meeting time. If you can’t make an activity, it is OK! There are no attendance requirements but active participation is encouraged.
Members contribute annual dues which are determined by the club leadership. Dues for our new Young Professionals Club will be $30 per quarter. All monies needed to accomplish service projects are raised through fundraising.
